PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING OF

Mr. Saddlemire called the meeting to order for an untelevised work session of the Planning Commission.
Development Projects Update
Mr. Solomon provided an update on numerous projects that are ongoing in the Township. Projects that were updated include the following: McDonald's, Addisville Commons, Mill Race Inn, 59 Almshouse, Waverly Subdivision, 840 Second Street Pike, KMMHH Subdivision, Richboro Shopping Center, Strobinski Subdivision, and the Police Station Project.
At this point, Amanda Fuller, Township Engineer, gave an update on the following projects: 2019 Milling Project, the Northampton Township Police Building, the Civic Center Restrooms, Civic Center Phase 2 Project, Township Administration Building Entrance Improvements, Northampton Township Free Library Insulation Replacement Project, the New Road Trail Head, the Eagle Valley Basin, the Norton Pond Restoration, and the Parsons building.
In addition, the following projects were discussed: Spring Mill Country Club, Leehurst Farm, Gilmour Tract, Poets Walk, Juliette’s Garden, Rolling Hills Elementary School, 492 New Road, 59 Almshouse, Lakeside Day Camp, Cell Tower Projects, and an update on miscellaneous building, pool, and road opening permits.
There was also discussion on the MS4 stormwater requirements and the impacts on municipalities.
Mr. Solomon stated that staff and consultants will review ordinance requirements to consider possible amendments related to routine waiver requests. This matter will be discussed by the Planning Commission in the future.
