A Message From Chief LeCompte

Dear Northampton Township Residents,

I want to assure our residents that the Northampton Twp. PD will continue to provide professional police services and will meet our resident’s needs.  Our department has sufficient staffing and is fully operational.  We have adjusted our response to some medical calls and low priority calls.  Officers have been encouraged to use social distancing to protect themselves, as well as others, from possible infection.  Please help our officer’s social distance by maintaining space between you and our officer and be willing to meet with the officer outside of your home.  Officers may elect to use personal protective equipment as they deem necessary.  A contingency plan to provide police services is in place and will only be implemented if police staffing due to the COVID - 19 severely limits our ability to provide police services.

We want to thank the members of our community for all of their support during this difficult time.  Individually prepared food from local restaurants, face masks, safety equipment, and more, have been donated to emergency services departments in Northampton.

Please continue to stay home and stay safe as we all try to stop the spread.
