The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) advises motorists that high-friction resurfacing work will take place on Bustleton Pike in Northampton Township beginning next week.
Work Schedule
- Dates: Friday, June 12, through Wednesday, June 24
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Days: Monday through Saturday
- Location: Bustleton Pike between Lower Holland Road and Anthony Drive
Motorists should expect lane closures with flagging operations and are encouraged to allow extra travel time, as traffic backups and delays are likely.
The project involves the installation of High-Friction Surface Treatment (HFST), which improves pavement grip and increases traction during both wet and dry conditions, enhancing roadway safety.
All work is weather dependent.
For real-time traffic conditions, motorists can visit 511PA.com, use the 511PA mobile app, or call 5-1-1 for travel information and updates.
