Heat Advisory: Casella/Whitetail Collection Routes to Begin Early Wednesday Through Friday
Due to the forecasted extreme heat and dangerously high heat index values expected Wednesday through Friday, Casella/Whitetail Disposal has received approval to begin all trash, recycling, and yard waste collection routes one hour earlier than normal, with pickups starting at 5:00 AM.
This temporary schedule change is being implemented to help protect collection crews from prolonged exposure to dangerous temperatures.
What Residents Need to Do
To ensure your collection is not missed, please place all trash, recycling, and yard waste at the curb after 6:00 PM the evening before your scheduled collection day.
Collection crews may arrive as early as 5:00 AM, so materials should be ready for pickup before that time. Crews will not return for items placed at the curb after the 5:00 am start time.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as Casella/Whitetail takes this precaution to help keep their employees safe during the extreme heat.
