Northampton Township's 2026 Road Improvement Program will continue with Cape Seal Road treatments beginning August 20, 2026.
Work will be completed in two phases:
Phase 1: August 20 & 21
Phase 2: August 31 – September 4
All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.

What is Cape Seal?
Cape Seal is a pavement preservation treatment designed to extend the life of existing roadways and improve the roadway surface.
Residents are encouraged to watch the short video below to learn more about the Cape Seal process and what to expect during the project.
Residents should expect temporary traffic restrictions and delays while work is underway. Please use caution around construction crews and follow all posted signs and traffic-control directions.
