PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Northampton Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing through the use of an authorized telecommunications device on Monday, June 21, 2021, at 5:30 PM.  The telecommunications device being utilized for this public hearing is the Zoom meetings platform.  Visit www.northamptontownship.com to view the Agenda and instructions on how to participate in the public hearing either through the Zoom meetings platform or by submitting written comments or questions to Northampton Township through regular mail or to the e-mail address below.  If you have any questions prior to the meeting, please contact Mike Solomon, Director of Planning and Zoning, at 215-357-6800, extension 214, or by e-mail at msolomon@nhtwp.org.  The following applications will be considered:  

 

  1. Case No. 2021-33, the application of Suzanne and James Wagner, for the property located at 34 East Robin Road, Holland, Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 31-47-140. The property is located in the R-2, Single Family, zoning district.  The property is improved with a single-family detached dwelling and accessory shed.  The Applicants propose an in-ground pool, pool coping, pool deck, and related improvements.  The Applicants seek a variance from Northampton Township Zoning Ordinance §27-406.2.A(5) to permit an impervious surface ratio of 29.7%, where the existing ratio is 26.9%, and the maximum impervious surface ratio permitted by right is 20%.

 

  1. Case No. 2021-34, the application of Robert Eells, for the property located at 51 Cardinal Drive, Holland, Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 31-47-24. The property is located in the R-2, Single Family, zoning district.  The property is improved with a single-family detached dwelling and accessory shed.  The Applicant proposes an addition to the existing dwelling.  The Applicant seeks variance from the following sections of the Northampton Township Zoning Ordinance:  (a) from §27-406.2.A.(4)(b) to permit an individual side yard setback of 9 feet, where the required minimum side yard setback is 20 feet; and to permit an aggregate of the side yard setbacks of 32 feet, where the required minimum aggregate of the side yard setbacks is 45 feet; and (b) from §27-406.2.A(5) to permit an impervious surface ratio of 21.5%, where the maximum impervious surface ratio permitted by right is 20%.
