PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Northampton Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the Northampton Township Municipal Building, 55 Township Road, Richboro, PA to consider the following applications:

 

  1. Case No. 2022-22, the application of Jonathan Wesley Hogeland, for the property located at 74 Holyoke Road, Richboro, Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 31-45-8. The property is located in the R-2, Single-Family, zoning district.  The property is improved with a single-family detached dwelling.  The Applicant proposes an addition to the existing dwelling.  The Applicants seeks a variance from §27-406.2.A.(4)(b) of the Northampton Township Zoning Ordinance to permit an individual side yard setback of 9 feet, where the required minimum side yard setback is 20 feet; and to permit an aggregate of the side yard setbacks of 40 feet, where the required minimum aggregate of the side yard setbacks is 45 feet.

 

  1. Case No. 2022-23, the application of Vincent and Lisa Visco, for the property located at 65 Richard Road, Ivyland, Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 31-1-4-6. The property is located in the I-1, Planned Industrial / Office, zoning district.  The property is in the Northampton Township Business & Technology Center.  It is improved with a non-residential building, parking areas and related improvements.  The building contains a single user with a combination of space devoted to warehouse, manufacturing, and office activities.  The Applicants propose an addition to the existing building.  The Applicants seek variances from the following sections of the Northampton Township Zoning Ordinance:  (a) from §27-603.2.E to permit a building coverage ratio of 31.9%, where the maximum building coverage ratio permitted by right is 30%; and (b) from §27-1110.2.A(1) to allow less than the minimum required off-street parking spaces on the property for the expanded non-residential use (no new spaces are proposed, when 4 are required).
