
Northampton Township is accepting applications for the position of Public Works Department Administrative Assistant. This Full-Time (37.5 hours), hourly position provides administrative support to the Public Works Department.
Some Responsibilities include:
- Performs various office tasks to support the Public Works Department
- Maintain employee attendance, time off tracking and payroll
- Maintain work orders and asset management in TRAISR
- Answering phones, responding to emails, and providing general office support
- Coordinate, review, and maintain various bids and contracts (Salt, Fuel, Paving, etc.)
- Preparing documents, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office 365
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent field of study preferred
- At least five (5) years of secretarial and administrative support work with a background in accounting working experience
- Experience in a public administration setting preferred
