Traffic Advisory

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PennDOT maintenance crews will be working on 30 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.

The Philadelphia region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.

PennDOT would like to remind motorists that potholes can be reported to PennDOT’s Customer Care Center by visiting www.customercare.penndot.pa.gov. To date, since January 1, 2025, District 6 has received over 3,900 customer concerns regarding potholes.

Motorists are advised of travel restrictions and possible slowdowns next week when driving near work crews patching potholes at the following locations:

Bucks County

·         Bridgetown Pike, Northampton Township

·         Haunted Lane, Bensalem Township.

·         Steinburg, Milford Township.

Chester County

·         U.S. 1 (Kennett Oxford Bypass), New Garden and Kennett townships.

·         Art School Road, West Pikeland Township.

·         Bondsville Road, East Brandywine Township.

·         Copeland School Road, East Bradford Township.

·         Goshen Road, Willistown Township.

·         Merlin Road, Charlestown Township.

·         Phoenixville Pike, West Whiteland and West Goshen townships.  

Delaware County

·         Route 352, Middletown Township.

·         Burmont Road, Upper Darby Township.

·         Manoa Road, Haverford Township.

·         Marple Road, Marple Township.

Montgomery County

·         Route 73 (Skippack Pike), Whitpain and Whitemarsh townships.

·         Cross Road, Skippack and Lower Salford townships.

·         Evans Road, Lower Gwynedd Township.

·         Evergreen Road, Lower Pottsgrove and Limerick townships.

·         Norristown Road/Township Line Road, Whitpain, East Norriton, and Worcester townships.

·         Sanatoga Road/Bleim Road, Lower Pottsgrove Township.

·         School Road/Plymouth Road, Whitpain and Lower Gwynedd townships.

Philadelphia County

·         I-95.

·         I-76.

·         I-676 (Vine Street Expressway).

·         U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard).

·         Route 291 (Penrose Avenue).

·         Chestnut Street.

·         Kelly Drive.

·         Oregon Avenue.

·         Ridge Avenue.

Drivers are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and our workers safe.
