Northampton Township residents are invited to attend a Second Street Pike Dedication Ceremony honoring U.S. Air Force Captain Walter H. Sigafoos III on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Addisville Church, 945 Second Street Pike in Richboro.
Captain Sigafoos and his pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey C. Lemon, were declared missing in action following a mission over Laos on April 25, 1971, during the Vietnam War.
The ceremony, hosted by State Representative Kristin Marcell and State Senator Frank Farry, will dedicate a portion of Second Street Pike in Captain Sigafoos' honor. The event will also coincide with National POW/MIA Recognition Day, making the dedication especially meaningful as the community remembers and honors those who served and never returned home.
Residents and members of the community are encouraged to attend this special ceremony honoring Captain Sigafoos' service and sacrifice.
